Wine Minds Apprenticeship

Could you be our next Wine Minds apprentice?

As part of our commitment to developing the hospitality and drinks industry stars of the future, we are recruiting two new Wine Minds apprentices.

The apprenticeship lasts twelve months, during which time our apprentices will be welcomed into the Bibendum family, with the opportunity to attend exclusive masterclasses, go on wine producer visits and undergo formal training.

It is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in a career in hospitality, and a chance to learn first-hand from some of the world's best winemakers and industry professionals.

What’s in it for you?

As a Wine Minds apprentice you will have the opportunity to:

-          Study for your WSET Level 2 or Level 3

-          Attend exclusive masterclasses with visiting winemakers

-          Take part in a harvest internship with one of our Northern Hemisphere producers (usually around September)*

-          Join a customer trip to visit one of our winemakers*

-          Regularly attend Bibendum tasting events

What do you have to do?

Social media is a great way to network within the drinks industry, so this will play a key part in the apprenticeship. We would like our apprentices to be a ‘Bibendum ambassador’ for the duration of the apprenticeship, using social media to document all the exciting experiences they are having, including ‘instagram takeovers’ during trips and the harvest internship.

You will also need the support of your employer to take time off for tastings, trips and WSET training and be available to travel abroad for the harvest internship and producer visit.

How do you sign up?

To be eligible to apply, you must be resident in the UK and must currently work in the hospitality or drinks sector.

Just fill in the online application form by 31 December 2019 to be in with a chance of getting a place.

*Travel and accommodation will be covered for any trips, including the harvest internship. Candidates will be required to organise and pay for any visas required to visit relevant countries.
