Very concentrated, with flavours of sweet balsamic, red fruits and violets. This is a well-balanced wine with mature, silky tannins and a long, fresh finish.
Unusually for wineries in the Douro, Quinta do Vallado’s priority is making table wines rather than Port (though their 10 year old Tawny is one of the best examples of its type on the market!).
