Quinta do Vallado is a small but perfectly formed producer in Portugal. This wine is a blend of a number of different Organic Portuguese grape varieties which are usually used to make port. It has flavours of rich, spicy bramble fruit.
Unusually for wineries in the Douro, Quinta do Vallado’s priority is making table wines rather than Port (though their 10 year old Tawny is one of the best examples of its type on the market!).
