This full-bodied wine has flavours of plums, blackberries, cocoa, cinnamon and vanilla. The tannins are ripe and the finish is long and clean.
Unusually for wineries in the Douro, Quinta do Vallado’s priority is making table wines rather than Port (though their 10 year old Tawny is one of the best examples of its type on the market!).
