Catena Alta is a limited production of single varietal wines made from a selected few rows in the Catena family's vineyards. These special barrels undergo a rigorous second selection at the winery.

This wine is sourced from the family's historic vineyards in the Agrelo Appellation, a region well-regarded for Cabernet Sauvignon in Mendoza.

Full bodied, with a touch of sour cherry adding some energy to the wine. A fine balance between fruit and concentration. A very fine example of Lujan de Cuyo Malbec.
