Very intense, full bodied and rich, combining dried fruits and honey on the nose, with flavours of orange jam on the palate, and a very long, persistent finish.
Unusually for wineries in the Douro, Quinta do Vallado’s priority is making table wines rather than Port (though their 10 year old Tawny is one of the best examples of its type on the market!).
