Deep ink-red in color, it displays aromas of dried fruit, exotic spices, white pepper and dark chocolate, sandalwood and figs. The mouth feel is big and intense, yet round, rich, warm and extremely well-balanced. The finish is very long, persistent and full, with a hint of sweetness from the oak aging. It shows best when enjoyed on its own.

Bright aromas of crème brulee vanilla, followed by flavours of ripe plum, cranberry, olive tapenade and a hint of white pepper and eucalyptus. The sweet middle palate is rich and supple. The finish is full of soft lingering tannins. Block 50 is in the Clements Hills sub AVA of Lodi.
