Sommelier Wine Awards 2017: the lowdown
Our producers won a record-breaking 49 gold medals at this year’s Sommelier Wine Awards – with 245 medals in total.
These spanned the Old and New World and can all be found below. On top of this exciting news we were also thrilled to be named this year’s Merchant of the Year!
The SWA is an annual competition judged by wine experts and master sommeliers. It launched in 2007 and is the UK’s only On Trade wine competition.
Bibendum’s winners included a variety of Old and New World wines, and a number of categories including House Wines and Food Pairing Options. We were delighted to see gold medals awarded to a host of well-deserving producers.
