The hospitality industry has changed drastically over the last month. An increasing number of operators are now offering takeaway and delivery services, and we want to support any venue that makes this decision.
To do this, we have launched LOCAL, an app designed to help restaurants, pubs, bars and independent merchants to offer omnichannel solutions to the current industry challenges.
Originally designed as an order & pay app that would enable our customers to offer Home Delivery or Click & Collect services, we have added new features that will be vital as the industry looks towards reopening. Now, using the app, you'll be able to offer contactless order and payment options for in-venue table service, delivery, and collection.
Best of all, there are no setup costs or upfront charges. All businesses will need to set themselves up on the app is a logo, a menu, contact details, and a Stripe Connect account.
All fees will be covered by us for every site that joins, bar a minimal 2% transaction fee on every order and a small fee for the Stripe Connect payment platform. LOCAL is available to download from both the Google and Apple App stores.
