Fine Wine: Decanted
The way fine wine is being presented has changed a lot. You’re as likely to find it in a casual gastro pub as a Michelin-starred restaurant these days and that means that it’s not just Somms who need to know how to sell it.
This one-day workshop has been designed to take you on a journey through the world of fine wines. It will teach you the skills and knowledge you need in order to recommend, talk about and serve fine wines with confidence.
How it works
The world of fine wines can be intimidating but we want to keep the workshop fun and with lots of practical activities. You will learn about how to talk about fine wines, look into the classic regions and their iconic producers as well as practical skills for fine wine service.
Who is it for
The course is aimed at front of house staff with a great interest in wine, wanting to broaden their knowledge and increase their confidence in fine wine.
