Valdivieso was founded in 1879 by Alberto Valdivieso, who set off from Catalonia to make the country’s very first sparkling wines. Innovation turned into a success story and today Valdivieso is a leading producer of premium Chilean still and sparkling wines, with a total production capacity of 11 million bottles. Core product ranges include: Valdivieso Varietals, Valley Selection, Single Vineyard and Caballo Loco.
Valdivieso carefully sources grapes from all of Chile’s valleys, from Limari in the north to the Bio-Bio Valley in the south. Valdivieso also owns its own vineyards in Sagrada Familia, near Curico. These vineyards are planted with a wide range of international grape varieties and are located close to the Valdivieso winery in Lontue.
Valdivieso is a member of Wines of Chile Certified Sustainable and all of its wines are vegan friendly.
