Led by Jose Luis Munoz, Bodegas Tabula farms 22ha of limestone rich soil in Olivares de Duero, between Valladolid and Penafiel, on the far western side of the Ribera del Duero DO.
In this part of the Ribera del Duero some of the most famous wines of Spain are made, and Tabula is an important part of the scene.
At Tabula there is one important philosophy: to make the best quality wines that express the authentic terroir of la Ribera. Very old vines, the latest technology, French oak vats for malolactic fermentation, the double selection of grapes, and very limited production makes for a winemaker's dream.
