Neszmely is a key wine region of Transdanubia, northern Hungary. They grow a selection of French and regional grape varieties, which both suit the climate and the food. The Moon River vineyards are situated on warm loess soil overlooking the Danube, these prime sites impart an easily distinguishable identity to the wines grown here, with the climate slightly milder than in Hungary's more southern wine regions.
