Inzuzo is a BEE (Black Economic Empowerment) company established by Journey’s End in 2024.
Lead by Kaylin Willscot who is assistant winemaker at Journey’s End, Inzuzo’s mission is to use wine as a tool for transformation, contributing its sales proceeds to engage in specific, audited projects and programmes in the village.
Kaylin was born and raised in the township of Sir Lowry’s Pass Village. She is one of the rising stars of the South African wine scene, receiving the prestigious Cape Winemakers Guild Protege of the Year award in 2023, she is dedicated to inspiring the next generation.
Inzuzo’s funding will run schemes such as the Early-Stage Development centre, for the development of children who have dropped out of school, as well as an art programme that aims to rehabilitate through creative projects. Kaylin is incredibly passionate about using her success to uplift her community. 50% of the proceeds of her Inzuzo wine sales will support local mentorship programmes, helping others to spread their wings and follow in her footsteps.
