Chateau Viramiere is consistently listed as one of the best wines from the Union de St Emilions estates.
The Viramiere vineyard spans approximately 14ha of limestone-clay soils in St. Emilion, planted with 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. Average age of the vines in 40 years. The wine itself is richly suave and satisfying, with ripened red fruits and fine, savoury tannins.
