Champagne Lallier

Champagne Lallier have been perfecting their craft in the Ay appellation of Champagne for over a century. Their craftmanship is not bound by convention but rather guided by the changing nature of the terroir and the diversity of ideas held by fellow winemakers.

Domaine Lallier’s own vineyards cover just over 15ha of wines sprawling between the Marne River and the Southern slopes of the Montagne de Reims, making up 40% of their total supply with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Their vineyards are carefully maintained through the promotion of biodiversity with bees and fruit trees, to ensure the long-term health of the vines. Their commitment to the protection of their natural environment is demonstrated by their High Environmental Value certification across their vineyards.

Champagne Lallier’s Chef de Cave, Dominique Demarville, brings over 23 years of experience of winemaking in Champagne, with positions at the world’s most famous Champagne houses, including Veuve Clicquot. His long fascination with terroir and native yeasts both play a part in creating truly expressive Champagnes as he takes each vintage in his stride.
