Bisceglia

Bisceglia is a champion of volcanic winemaking in Southern Italy.

After spending many years working in the corporate food industry, Mario Bisceglia finally made the decision to return to his region and begin winemaking in 2001. The Bisceglia estate was launched in 2001, located on the lower slopes of the extinct Mount Vulture - a place known as 'Wine Town' within Basilicata for its favourable conditions and fantastic wines.

Mario's goal is to highlight the peculiarities of this volcanic terroir in his wines, all of which are world-class. Working within a state-of-the-art winemaking facility, today he crafts a range that not only includes indigenous grapes such as Aglianico and Moscato, but also uses international varieties like Merlot, Syrah, and Chardonnay.
