A winery steeped in Australian winemaking history, Best’s has been creating wines in the Great Western region of Victoria for over 140 years. The winery is one of the country’s oldest continuously family owned and operated wineries, and owns some of the oldest Pinot Noir vines in the World, with one parcel dating back to the 1860s.
Now run by fourth generation winemaker Viv Thomson, he is creating wines of great depth, finesse and character, with a strong sense of place and history. All the fruit here is estate grown and benefits from the incredible vine age present across Best’s vineyard sites, enabling the winemakers to create such finesse and focus within their wines.
With bucket loads of intense character and depth of flavour, Best’s Great Western Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Pinor Meunier and Riesling are some of Australia’s most exciting wines.
