Yering Station Village Shi-raz Veeyonyay

Product guide note

The Yarra Valley, unlike many of Australia’s wine growing districts, is cool. So this wine has big flavours and is still refreshing to drink. The Viognier has been blended with the Shiraz, which gives it a creamy texture.

Production information

Producer: Yering Station

Victoria's first vineyard, Yering Station, was originally planted in 1838. Despite the threat of Phyllloxera and the property narrowly avoiding grubbing up to be used as a permanent dairy farm, the vineyard ultimately prevailed. Rated a 5 star producer by James Halliday, Yering Station create beautiful cool climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and expands our Australian selection to include one of the best vineyards in Yarra Valley.
