Wynns The Siding Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Product code: 14WYN4B2012

This Cabernet Sauvignon has flavours and aromas of raspberry, red fruits, and cedary oak accentuated by a hint of mint. The wine is medium-bodied, with gentle tannins and finishes with a lovely, soft persistence of fruit. This is a great example of Cabernet Sauvignon with all the right varietal cues on display - mint, brambly notes and brooding darkness, but with reined in tannins.

Producer: Wynns

Wynns is one of Australia’s oldest wine estates - vines were first planted by founder John Riddoch in 1861 - and it is now the largest in Coonawarra. Sue Hodder is the chief winemaker, a position she has held for two decades, and no-one understands the nuances of the region’s famous terra rossa soils better than she does. Read more
