Named after the Schaefer family, the original custodians of this unique vineyard that continues to produce elegant and rich fruit year after year. Twenty-four months in new French oak provides chocolate, spice and balance to the wine, which is dominated by dark red cherries, plums and red berry aromas and ?avours.
