Vietti was one of the first Barolo wineries to export its products to the USA and was also one of the first to select and vinify grapes from single vineyards. Now it's one of the first rank of Barolo producers in the world.

Production note

Grapes are selected from the 3 top vineyards of Monforte, Castiglione Falletto and Castiglione Tinella. After pressing, the grape must is kept in stainless steel tanks for 10 days at 26° C to 32°C for the alcoholic fermentation. The wine is then transferred to casks, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and ageing.
