Product guide note

Made from Nebbiolo grapes, this wine is seen as the sister of Barolo. It is bursting with sour cherry and floral aromas, and a savoury palate of red fruit and a twist of bitter almond. This wine is very elegant and has a long after taste which is a sign of a good quality wine.

Production note

The grapes are harvested from one of Vietti’s top vineyards, Masseria. The must rests in open-top stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures during alcoholic fermentation, with frequent punching down and pumping over. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in barriques. The wine then ages in oak casks for 30 months before release.
