How to say it

Tee Awah Left Field Seerah

Product guide note

This wine is made from the Syrah grape which is also known as Shiraz. It has been made in an old world style, meaning it is less obviously fruity and a more elegant style of wine. It is full bodied with plenty of red fruit and very peppery.

Production information

Producer: Te Awa

Te Awa is a single estate situated in the Gimblett Gravels area of Hawkes Bay, New Zealand’s premium red wine producing area. Hotter than Bordeaux and with similar gravely soils to Graves, it is unsurprising that this region produces fine examples of Bordeaux blends with some exciting Chardonnay and Syrah to boot. If you didn’t think New Zealand could make red wines that weren’t Pinot Noir, think again!
