Production note

The hand-picked grapes underwent fermentation with natural wild yeasts & 5% whole bunch clusters were added for an increased lift in aromatics & structure. Intermittent stirring of malolactic lees during barrel aging adds palate weight & mouth feel. An intensely dark red brick coloured wine with earthy, dark berry & lifted spice aromas. Cherry, mineral & subtle savoury/sweet influences on the palate - a silken wine which shows real integrity, finesse & structure. Unfined & very gently filtered.
