Like a lot of wines from Europe this wine is named after the region where it is from. Gavi is a region in the north west of Italy where it grows the Cortese grape variety. This is a fantastic example of Gavi, with floral aromas and intense white and citrus fruit flavours.

Production note

The grapes are chilled in a cold store for 12 hours overnight after harvesting. They are then destemmed and soft pressed. The grapes are fermented and refined in stainless steel vats. Refined in bottle for at least 4 months before release.
