Production information

Producer: Moon River

Neszmely is a key wine region of Transdanubia, northern Hungary. They grow a selection of French and regional grape varieties, which both suit the climate and the food. The Moon River vineyards are situated on warm loess soil overlooking the Danube, these prime sites impart an easily distinguishable identity to the wines grown here, with the climate slightly milder than in Hungary's more southern wine regions.

Production note

After de-stemming and crushing, two days of cold maceration at 12°C and fermentation with cultivated yeast between 20-23°C for two weeks in stainless steel tanks. Regular pump overs in the first week every 6 hours and in the second phase every 12 hours. Matured in stainless steel tanks for 5 months.
