Since Phylloxera wreaked havoc across the wine producing regions, the resistant American rootstocks have been grafted to virtually all vines around the world. It is therefore quite unusual to see ungrafted vines in Europe.

Production note

The grapes were picked at the end of October. 100% healthy grapes were crushed and macerated for some hours on the flavourful skins. Spontaneous fermentation in large barrels followed. A long-term storage on the fine lees helped the wine to result in a well-balanced fruity wine
