Production note

Grapes were selected from low yielding vineyards that produce exceptional concentration and flavour. Harvest occurred over a number of days at peak ripeness of fruit. Grapes underwent stainless steel fermentation, where daily pump overs took place to enhance flavour and colour extraction from the skins. After completing primary fermentation, the wine was pressed onto predominantly French oak for malolactic fermentation to develop a richly layered mouthfeel. Aged for eleven months in small oak
