Product guide note

This wine is made from a grape called Muscat. The wine is made sweet by adding spirit (strong alcohol) during winemaking, which stops fermentation and no more sugar is converted to alcohol. The resulting wine is sweet with a grapey aroma and floral notes. It comes from a place in France called Beaume de Venise.

Production information

Producer: Domaine de Fenouillet

Located in Beaumes de Venise and owned by the Soard family for generations, Domaine de Fenouillet is a Muscat specialist. The grapes used to be sold in bulk to other producers but that changed with the arrival of a new generation. Brothers Patrick and Vincent now at the helm, bottle the domaine’s production themselves, and their winemaking philosophy keeps it simple: ripe grapes, traditional winemaking and no oak. The wine speaks of the region; fresh and vibrant with masses of honeyed, grapey fruit.
