Production information

Producer: Domaine Cheval-Blanc Signe

Domaine Cheval-Blanc Signe is a small, family-run domaine in the Entre-Deux-Mers region that operates on a completely different scale from the famous names of the Medoc. There are no turrets on the chateau and no international consultants on huge pay packets in the cellar. In their place there is the Signe family who quietly go about their business of making fantastic, affordable Bordeaux – something of a rarity in these days of overhyped en primeur campaigns.

Production note

The grapes are allowed to macerate with the skins for 12 to 24 hours before fermentation maximising the fruit and aromatics. Fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. No oak is used at any point.
