Product guide note

This is from Provence, a region in the South of France. It is a rich, spicy red with deep, savoury damson and blackberry fruit and herbal notes too. The wine is made from a blend of local grape varieties, as well as some international ones, such as Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Production information

Producer: Chateau des Sarrins

Not content with owning his own fantastic Champagne house, Bruno Paillard bought Chateau des Sarrins in 1995 and immediately set about revitalising the property. The name of the property is said to stem from an invading Saracen who was killed, and buried in his golden armour, on the property in the 14th Century.
