Production information

Producer: Chateau Cantemerle

Testament to the high quality wine that’s always been produced at Chateau Cantemerle it was included in the 1855 Grand Cru Classification. Its history reads like that of the Bordeaux region. Vineyards decimated by Phylloxera followed by many years lying dormant. A period of rapid expansion then work to improve the quality. Today after years of vineyard management, the property is back to its original size of 90 hectares. And the wine has never been better.

Production note
