Production information

Producer: Cave de Ribeauville

Cave de Ribeauville is the oldest wine co-operative in France and it is currently going from strength to strength under the beady eye of Director Philippe Dry. A quality charter has been set up with the help of winemaker Evelyne Dondelinger and the 40 grape growers, to ensure low yields and only hand-picked grapes. With more than 260 hectares at its disposal encircling the ancient town of Ribeauville, this thoroughly modern co-op has access to the very best fruit for its classically balanced range of wines.

Production note

The grapes are pressed in whole bunches and fermented in stainless steel vats for 20 days at 21°C max and lees ageing for 4 months. No MLF nor oak contact. Cross flow filtration before bottling.
