Production information

Producer: Castellani

Castellani has over a century of winemaking history in Tuscany, exporting its wines since 1903 from the family base near Pisa. Still family owned and managed by Piergiorgio Castellani, this Tuscan empire now includes five separate estates dotted around the region, from the Fattoria di Travalda in the Arno valley, to the Campomaggio vineyards in the heart of Chianti Classico.

Production note

Completely mature grapes are handpicked from vineyards. Old traditional vinification methods are used to ferment and macerate the must with the skins at controlled temperatures 20-23° C. The wine is pressed and then goes through malolactic fermentation in steel tanks.
