Producer: Bastianich

Bastianich is located in Friuli and specialises in local grapes such as Friulano and Ribolla Gialla. The house style is very fresh and crisp with lots of aromatic fruit, making the wines ideal for a wide range of foods and cuisines. The wines are already rated amongst the top in the region with Vespa Bianco having been awarded Tre Bicchieri in the Gambero Rosso no fewer than 6 times! Joe also owns La Mozza based in Tuscany. The bold intense wines are the perfect foil to the fresh flavours of Friuli.

Production note

50% is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and 50% in oak casks. The wine is then blended and bottle-aged for one year prior to release.
