How to say it

Alois Lagayday Bayta Delta Lagrain Murlow

Product guide note

‘Beta Delta’ stands for ‘biodynamic’, which is a farming practice that goes beyond being organic also taking into consideration the cycle of the moon. This wine is made from a blend of two grape varieties: Merlot and Lagrein. It is medium-full bodied with intense blackberry flavours, floral and oaky notes.

Production information

Producer: Alois Lageder

Located in the German-speaking village of Magreid in the mountains of Alto Adige, Lageder runs his domaine on a completely sustainable basis. The vines (which have been farmed biodynamically since 2004) enjoy a long, sunny growing season with warm days and cool nights that help to preserve both the grapes' natural aromas and acidity.
