Product guide note

Lirac is the name of the village at the centre of the vineyards that produce this wine. It is made from a blend of different grape varieties but the best known are Syrah (or Shiraz) and Grenache. It is a big, full, rich red with lots of spice, pepper and black fruit.

The cellars are located in Orange, just up the road from Chateauneuf du Pape, and are used to make both the Domaine Grand Veneur and Alain Jaume wines. All the family’s wines are impressive and balance ripe, sweet fruit with classic southern Rhone warmth and spice.
