Very fresh and aromatic with floral grape and peach on the nose. The off-dry palate has more of the same but cuts the sweetness with a wave of refreshing lemon and lime acidity.
The grapes are gently crushed in a pneumatic press and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 3 weeks. The wine is fined with bentonite and then filtered before bottling.

The Riesling grape is capable of making some great, clean and fruity wine, usually with a bit of sweetness. For customers who don’t want a dry wine, this wine is medium and has aromas and flavours of apples and citrus fruit with some floral notes as well.

The Dr. Loosen estate, based in the Mosel, has been in the same family for over 200 years. When Ernst Loosen assumed ownership in 1988, he realized that with these ungrafted vines, averaging around 60 years old, in some of Germany’s prime vineyard sites, he had the raw materials to create stunning, world class wines.
To achieve this, Ernst dramatically reduced his crop size, and focused solely on Riesling. Ernst went on to stop all chemical fertilization, preferring only the moderate use of organic fertilizers. While most importantly, turning to gentler cellar practices that allow the wine to develop its full potential with a minimum amount of handling and technological meddling.
