Fine bubbles sit perfectly amongst delicate, young, springlike bouquet, focusing on floral aromas, fresh white fruit and citrus with a few hints of roasted almonds. The long lasting elegant taste is emphasised by the acidity, which although present is completely enveloped by the density and sweetness of the wine. This is a blanc de blancs which is made to last, but which already has a well-established seductiveness!

The term 'Blanc de Blancs' means that this wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes rather than a blend of varieties which usually the case with Champagne. This wine is full of ripe pear aromas, with a crisp citrussy flavours and a touch of brioche.
Rich and heady with succulent flavours of nuts, ripe pears, caramel and tarte Tatin, yet dazzlingly fresh.

Louis Roederer was founded in 1776 in Reims, although its name would not appear until 1883 when M. Louis Roederer himself inherited the house from his uncle, Nicolas Schreider.
Whilst most other great Champagne companies bought in their grapes, Louis Roeder decided to opt for a ‘growers strategy’ which consisted of acquiring the best pieces of land in order to ensure a supply of the very best fruit possible.
Today, Louis Roeder is able to grow more than two thirds of its grapes o its own vineyards and the house has now applied a ‘chateau policy’ consisting of offering nothing but wines of the highest quality, accepting that this will inevitably mean lower quantities of wine.
