Rosé Champagne is an irresistibly pretty drink and this one is no exception. It is a pale, delicate pink with masses of very fine bubbles. The quality of the bubbles is an indication of the finesse and quality of the wine. It has crisp raspberry and strawberry fruit flavours and aromas.

Louis Roederer was founded in 1776 in Reims, although its name would not appear until 1883 when M. Louis Roederer himself inherited the house from his uncle, Nicolas Schreider.
Whilst most other great Champagne companies bought in their grapes, Louis Roeder decided to opt for a ‘growers strategy’ which consisted of acquiring the best pieces of land in order to ensure a supply of the very best fruit possible.
Today, Louis Roeder is able to grow more than two thirds of its grapes o its own vineyards and the house has now applied a ‘chateau policy’ consisting of offering nothing but wines of the highest quality, accepting that this will inevitably mean lower quantities of wine.
