A fine wine with pedigree and elegance. Mouth-watering with mingling floral and mineral notes, violets, wild blackberries & peppermint.
At reception at the winery, they are then sorted before AND after the destemmer.There are not crushed but vatted and almost whole berry-fermented.
Matured for 10 months in oak barrels of which 15% new.
Deleece du Shatoh Pree-ur, Saint Emeelion Gron Kroo
This wine is from the village of St Emilion in Bordeaux and red wines from here are usually called Claret. This wine is dry and medium-bodied, with flavours and aromas of spicy oak, black fruit and liquorice. It is made from 100%Merlot.
Dark, spicy fruit with lovely, ripe tannins and some restrained, savoury notes.
