This wine comes from Gevrey Chambertin which is the largest wine producing village in Burgundy’s Cote d’or. It is made from Pinot Noir. The wine is powerful and complex with intense flavours of blackcurrant and red berries with some oak flavours.
Sweet ripe fruit right across the palate, and a long fine finish that has perfect poise.

Located in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Dupont-Tisserandot has 20ha of vines split across the same number of appellations, from Marsannay in the north right down to Savigny-les-Beaune in the south. Didier Chevillon, the son-in-law of Bernard Dupont-Tisserandot, is the man at the helm in the cellars and he produces elegant, rich wines packed with Pinot Noir character and fruit.
Although the domaine makes wines from across the Cote d’Or, we think it performs best on home territory in Gevrey-Chambertin. The 1er Cru Les Cazetiers is a great example: rich, ripe and concentrated with fantastic depth. The one exception to this rule is the beautifully light and perfumed Marsannay which demonstrates the fantastic potential the village possesses.
