Pale yellow colour with green reflection. Very fruity on the nose. Bright floral notes with lime and grapefruit. Crispy and very refreshing on the palate.
The wine making is exclusively sur lie. The batonnage brings more fruit and complexity to the wine.
The wine is bottled at the beginning of spring following the harvest.

This wine is from the Loire valley in France and is a light simple white with citrus and apple flavours. It has a bit of richness from being aged in barrel for a short period of time.
Primary aroma of white flowers and stone fruit which fruit is immediately present on the palate with hints of almond and white peach.

The Chereau family are no Johnny-come-lately’s to the Muscadet business; they can trace their history in the Muscadet area all the way back to 1412. However, the business only really took off after the Second World War with the purchase of more vineyards and the Chateau de Chasseloir property which still houses the cellars.
The family have a reputation for producing outstanding wines packed with classic Muscadet character: dry, crisp and fresh with a fresh bite of lemon and just a hint of richness from the sur lie ageing.
