This is a sweet wine made from grapes that are first dried in the sun. It has aromas of citrus fruits, cinnamon, honey and vanilla. It is sweet but well-balanced with a fresh finish. The grapes are the Assyrtiko variety and are grown on the Greek Island of Santorini.

Based on the island of Santorini, the Santorini Winery is run by the Artemis M Karamolegos family, who started wine making here in the fifties. Home to a small, but flourishing wine industry, winemaking on the island is based on the indigenous grape variety, Assyrtiko, plus cultivations of two other Aegean varietals, Athiri and Aidani.
