One step up from Whispering Angel; includes some Grenache from 8-year-old vines, with Cinsault, Rolle and Syrah. Destemmed, fermented cool, with a proportion managed in demi-muids as well as steel. Freshness in abundance on the nose, a little creaminess to the fruit aromas, although there are more complex notes of angelica and liquorice too. Very nicely composed on the palate. Destemming and slight crushing at7-8°C to avoid coloration. Both the free run and pressed juices are vinified in stainless steel. “Batonnage” is twice weekly. Temperature controlled.

This is a top quality rosé from the South of France, made from a blend of local grape varieties. As is typical for this area is a pale and delicate pink. It is full flavours and aromas of ripe, crisp strawberries.
Slightly spicy and salty with notes of peach skin and white pepper, wonderfully fresh.
