Whole bunch pressed, natural yeasts and extended lees contact have led to the development of nutty aromas and citrus fruit characters, with a rich creamy mouthful of flavour, in a wine of real depth and power. This is simply their best Chardonnay so far!
Protos is made following classic Burgundian traditions including whole bunch pressing and barrel fermentation with natural vineyard yeasts only.
Glengwin Protos Shardonnay
This is a great example of Aussie Chardonnay. It has melon and peachy aromas and is rich and smooth. Because it has some subtle oak character it has some creamy vanilla aromas also. You might also pick up some tropical fruit flavours.
