Hand picked early morning on 10 March 2008, at a sugar level of 26.4°B.
The handpicked grapes were destalked to a horizontal fermenter to allow maximum skin contact during wild fermentation. After approximately 3% Alcohol was formed the fermenting juice was fortified on the skins and left for 24hours to integrate.
The skins were pressed and a portion taken to old Cap Classique barrels for maturation.

Based in Robertson, a second cellar in Franschhoek has been built to further extend the company's potential. The talented team of Pieter Ferreira and Erika Obermeyer control the winemaking at the Franschhoek and Robertson wineries.
Apart from the sparkling wines, Beck also produces a range of excellent reds and whites many with a string of awards to their name.
