Aromas of melon and spicy floral aromas. Persistent dry fruit notes on the palate with a full, well-balanced flavour.
All grape varieties were fermented after a very soft pressing in our modern presses. The fermentation lasted for nearly one month at temperatures varying between 16-18ºC.
About 85% of the wines were aged in stainless steel tanks, the remaining 15% was aged in new French oak barrels.
Valardoh Dooroh Brankoh
This wine is a blend of four different indigenous Portuguese grape varieties. It has aromas of ripe melon, and some floral aromas. On the palate this wine is dry, crisp and refreshing.
Intense mineral notes on the nose with hints of fresh melon, leading through to a full bodied, rich palate.

This eighteenth century Douro wine estate is actually one of the most modern-looking in Portugal. Although the team uses the traditional panoply of indigenous grapes, their methods are bang up to date and the results are nothing short of sensational.
Unusually for the region, Quinta do Vallado's priority is making table wines rather than Port, although their 10 year old Tawny is a superb partner for everything from ripe Stilton to ginger cake. The success of this approach has been borne out by the spicy, rich Tinto Reserva walking off with a host of trophies at both the IWC and Decanter awards.
Portuguese wines are really starting to develop a strong following here in the UK, so it’s pretty exciting for us to be able to offer you wines from what we believe is one the most dynamic winery in the region.
