Pale sunshine yellow colour with fresh floral, citrus and melon aromas with hints of almonds. A unoaked, dry, medium bodied white wine with crisp acidity, the Arneis is well-balanced, elegant wine with good complexity and a lingering finish.
Alcoholic fermentation occurs in stainless steel autoclave at lower temperature (10-12°C) to preserve some natural CO2 from the fermentation.
There is no malo-lactic fermentation which preserves acidity and freshness. The wine is held in stainless steel tanks until bottling.

The history of Vietti can be traced back to the 19th Century, when Patriarch Mario Vietti made the first Vietti wines, selling most of the production to the local villages. The production of quality wines continued through the fifties, confirming Vietti's position as one of the top producers in Piedmont.
Vieti was one of the first Barolo wineries to export its products to the USA and was also one of the first to select and vinify grapes from single vineyards.
Based in the small village of Castiglione Falletto, Vietti’s location is very important to what makes this winery so special, and gives the wines their character. Castiglione is sat more or less in the middle of the four other key Barolo villages, and their southern facing vineyards seem to have all of the characteristics that made each of the other villages so famous.
